I read a supposed ITK elsewhere suggest that we had to pay Sporting Lisbon huge amounts the next Premier League appearance that Silva makes - circa 5m euros. The same applies to Slimani. That's why neither are expected to ever play for the side again.

That would make sense as why Silva has disappeared entirely from the squad.

That and him being absolute tepid dog shit. But aye the financial stuff would make sense too.

They've made 14 and 35 EPL appearances respectively, 15 and 36 appearances seems to be funny numbers to hang a contract off

Maybe we have to pay silly money to their ex clubs the next time Mendy or Ndidi don’t play in the Premier League. I can’t think of any other reason why they’re continually selected.
 


Well if TNT Sports LA (who I have never heard of) say it then I’m sure this is happening.

Annnnd having never heard of him, and despite him not being a different kind of striker who could perhaps do something with a cross, I am sure he is totally what we would need.

The chance Mendy has had is a proper chance.

Especially after ****ing his move up and denying him proper football for half a season.
