Can we all complain about the soulless monolith we have to sit in, and how shit the defence is ?

Fan power, it's the future

So fan power does exist.

We wrote a detailed submission to the club on why the charges were not justified & flawed in terms of logic of being applied.

As part of our submission we used several very well thought out posts from this message board

We had it confirmed the next day that the charges would not be applied

We are not trying to claim sole credit, as for instance we know Leesoh also contacted the club as part of her FCC role

We were asked to let the club inform fans that this was the case, however we are not clear how this has taken place, other than charges not being applied

Good post FT.

The immediate complaints by several parties (and to be fair a fast reaction from the recipients at the club) seems to have work this time but we are still awaiting the formal announcement from the club (it'll probably be announced in 3 weeks time like transfers are).

Good stuff, I imagine the club won't bother with a release just like they didn't bother to actually inform the masses about the charge in the first place.

People who used the service previously were sent a letter signed by Chris Timbergen from the club announcing the charge, those people are well within their rights to expect a similar letter retracting the charges but I'd guess the club wants to save the postage.

Would the FT now like to take up the case of supporters aged between 60 and 65 who are not season ticket holders who have been hit with a far higher rise in prices than anybody else?

To be honest, I'm surprised there are several people on this 'board' capable of making well thought out posts.

Credit to the FT though for what you did.

It's always "me, me, me" with you isn't it Boc :icon_wink

Yep, for doing what most people only moan about and can't be arsed to act on.

Most people? I've rarely seen anybody moaning about not being able to find cogent posts on here

We knew that the charge was not going to be applied by the evening of 7th August which is probably before the trust had sent their comments based on this thread to the club, it doesn't take much effort to contact the club directly.

Yet the majority of people moaning about it didn't contact the club, so those that did deserve thanks.

The Trust are not trying to piss on your party. They acknowledge the part played by others. They may well have contacted the club informally before the 7th saying we will provide the 'evidence', posts from all sources etc, later. Just because you were the first does not mean that what others did later did not have an effect so was not worth doing.

I didn't say they were, I only gave the timeline as I saw it from some direct contact, I have had issues with the trust in the past but I really don't have a problem with them on this, the more people who complain directly to the club, the more likely they are to listen.
