Yeh I am not talking about 'quid a kid', I am talking about £18-£15 an adult and £5-10 for a kid. Sort the feckin catering out and they would make money from that.

Unfortunately, not as much as they would lose on the ticket income, which is pure profit. The catering has purchase costs, wages, etc., before you see any return.

I think you are right. At the end of the day, to make up a £5 reduction on a ticket, I would guess that you would have to sell a minimum of £25 on the catering side.

Unfortunately reducing our ticket prices, however it has been done over the past few seasons, has consistently failed to produce any meaningfull increase in crowd numbers.
As for the catering, the club have a long term 'fixed price' contract that gaurantee's the club a certain revenue, regardless of wether it is good, bad or indifferent, hence they do not give a s**t about it.

The only way to get a better atmosphere is to give the fans something to shout about. The only way to get them in is to give them something worth watching. It's not rocket science.
