Any updates on whether Abe is staying or going? He has been left out of the last few squads without explanation. Along with Danns he is a great addition to our midfield. It would be a shame if he left or was forced out.

He's possibly my favourite city player but I wouldn't be surprised to see him go. He doesn't look like getting any sort of run in the team. Hindered by the fact he's a bit of a specialist player, i.e. very good in the holding role but not much else.

Nothing from the Japan end yet. As I said before, the team he is supposed to be joining is currently trying to rebuild. They have been busy this week getting the new manager installed ahead of the start of the new season in March.

I'll post any update that I see.

I remember some Sheffield Wednesday fans saying that about Michael Morrison after he signed for them. Didn't Abe have to have a translator for ages? Must have been a nightmare at the start.
