I agree we could use a world class striker, but that does not mean that MA should have to take any Tom, Dick or Jimmy on a Zimmer frame looking for an easy pension!

What is it with some of you chaps? The board seemed in complete agreement before the season that a period of readjustment would be required, we lose the first game to a , let us say "unfortunate" goal, and you pillory the team, the manager and the chairman. You then strike the pre-match boards with your "bad feelings" about this game. We win, albeit not by a landslide, but we win and still you moan. Wake up and smell the coffee, very few teams slaughtered their opponents tonight; the season is young. Yes, there are faults; yes, we could do with more signings but for goodness sake, CHILL!!!

Maybe if you had driven 2 and a half hours to stand in the pouring rain get soaking wet and watch Accrington Stanley play your team off the field you might know.

There is absolutely no reason to chill out about this performance, I struggle to find words to describe how unutterably shit we played tonight. Absolute total bollocks from every player bar Hendo and Weso.

Did we lose heavily then? :102:

We could have very easily done. We were very very lucky not to conceded on numberous occasions.

If you had been at the match you would have known that....:098:

One shot on target against Accrington Stanley.

Says it all really.

that about sums it up.
The second half we were very poor, far to narrow, the amount of times the ball could have been played out wide only for no one to be there was unbelievable. the balance and shape of the side is not right i just hope that it is only that the players are taking time to adjust to the managers tactics and once they settle in we will be up and running.

we did and later in the season when we are at Wembley people will forget how poorly we played at Accrington

from a Stanley point of view I thought your players looked very easy on the ball and all from the midfield upwards seemed capable of running with it it. But, there was no lay off! and they always ran into traffic.

Second half? you will never get battered that heavily without conceding again. We still cannot fathom how your keeper made the one handed save from under the bar, we still cannot understand how the ball richocheted from the inside of the post and hit 3 players (without them really knowing about it) and stayed out.

Your goal was soft but other than the first ten minutes you offered nothing in the of penetration, solo runs apart.

Good luck for the rest of the season Fox fans, Leicester are to big a club to struggle.

To be totally honest, a neutral would've been hard pressed to tell which was the Championship side!

We were fecking shite.

I never look forward to going down to Selhurst Park to watch us play Palace anyhoo(mainly cos we play pap and lose) but after this week I'm hoping that Palace have an influenza bug sweep through the playing squad.....just so we can get a draw!

Quite. A win is a win. Absolute banana skin that...

Last season Stanley bt F****t, lost on pens to premier lge Watford and now us. They have not disgraced themselves against any higher lge opponents and nobody should expect us to have any devine right to bt them. They are enjoying their time being back in the lge and opponents like us are what they tried so hard to achieve when battling their way out of non lge football. I'm not excusing the way we played, but anyone who thought a disjointed championship side that obviously needs a few games to start gelling, was going to batter a side nicely settled side on a small tight ground then :icon_conf. Not good, not pretty, but your mad if you expected too much more at this stage.
