There are too many unanswered questions with Curbishley: presumably his staff have found new jobs so, who comes in with him? Has he still got the stomach for the job? Has he kept an eye on who might be available, cheaply, from lower league clubs?

I think that we need someone up to speed: the problem is; who?

Are we being softened up again? Put a few names out there that nobody wants, and we're almost grateful when Milan appoints an average no mark.

To be honest, I just want a manager who will stay there for a bit. My fear is that we'll go through another period of managerial change.

I would say a period of managerial uncertainty is a definite at this moment in time

He's been here two years, which considering how quick managers change that isn't too bad, and hardly a period of change.

Strangely I think Nwets is finally right and Dowie IS just around the corner

I'd much rather Adams to Dowie....

I dont want Dowie either but don't get misty eyed about Adams taking us to the Prem last time. Remember him at the end when he had lost the plot crap performances followed by micky refering to himself in the third person at every press conference, just how many times did we hear the phrase " the players are disappointed and Mickey Adams is disappointed"

Oh, absolutely, he would hardly be my first choice.....but the prospect of Dowie :icon_eek:

Apparently some Italian geezer called Capello will be available this time next week.

He seems to know what he's doing.....

get him in!

I suspect Hodgson will be waiting a few days before signing his Liverpool contract to see if the England job becomes available.....

As Lawrenson said on the commentary why on earth do they insist on signing these managers up to long-term contracts :102: I know it's to secure compensation if they walk out to a club but I'm sure it costs the FA more in the long run

I heard today that not only has the Pearson deal been wrapped up with Hull but more importantly we have let The Birch go!!

If that is true then it's shocking.

He may not have been born here and he may not be to everyone's taste, but he is Leicester through and through. His marriage even went pear-shaped because of the time he put in for our club.

Good luck Birch, and thanks for the many years you have given to us. I for one salute you.
