Wasn't the Sporting Lisbon President gazumping us by constantly delaying and putting the price up, which is why it went to the last day?

Well given that we wanted him in January, he should have been the first name on the hit list come the end of the season, Drinkwater or no Drinkwater. Had we have started earlier, even with the shenanigans of the Sporting Lisbon president we should have had it over the line well before the deadline.

The lad speaks out. For some reason as I was reading I also was treated to a totally irrelevant video about West Ham from three years ago.

I would be really annoyed as well. Especially as sporting and Leicester and Leicester have removed themselves from all responsibility. They are literally playing with someones livelyhood and it could potentially be his last chance at a world cup and if Ndidi, and Iborra play as they are. He might not get a chance in the first team

Sporting played silly games with the player's interests; Leicester didn't want to press the matter until they had shifted Drinkwater; time was running out and extra time wasn't sufficient to get it over the line. Pity the poor bloke getting mixed up with a collection of idiots. But Soundman is right the clubs have ducked responsibility. I've always struggled to see where FIFA are to blame.

I think the addition of Silva from mid January, a point last season when we really struggled, will make us an even better team/squad.

Not sure he'll feature in the F A Cup 3rd Round tie, which we'll find out who on Monday, but later that month and by the 4th Round, if we get that far, he should be in the team or pushing for a place from the bench.

If his debut is like Iborra's, I wonder how many of our fickle boneheads Neanderthal "supporters" will write him off .

Why wait that long? He’s rubbish! No contribution at all. Lazy bastard!

After all this nonsense, it would be quite funny if he was complete shite, though, wouldn't it ?

Apparently the birch has said he is the best midfielder he's seen at the club. Though he probably also said that about Lee Marshall.

It will be interesting to see where he'll fit in.

At the moment we're looking sexy and saucy as a chicken tikka masala.

Properly managed, with a couple of additions, we are once again looking like one fine team.

French journalist Jules Laurent was on James Richardson's podcast the other day saying what a good addition Silva will be. He's a leader and good passer, like Iborra but a little more mobile. He said a three of Ndidi, Silva and Iborra would be very solid and has a little bit of everything behind our sexy front three.

Laurent has been quite vocal about the reaction to Puel since he came to England, he thinks Whispering Claude is an excellent manager and will build the club slowly for the long term.

Nice.

In terms of building for the long term I must say I'm impressed with the way he's integrating the younger members of the term. I don't think its a coincidence that NDidis form has suddenly picked up since he arrived and Chilwell and Gray are playing as well as they ever have.
