Skysports.com understands Leicester are lining up a move for Preston forward Patrick Agyemang.

Foxes boss Ian Holloway is scouring the transfer market for reinforcements as he looks to guide his side away from trouble at the wrong end of the table.

Holloway has made a new striker one of his priorities and he has been alerted to Agyemang's possible availability.

The 27-year-old has been one of Preston's best performers this season in a disappointing campaign which sees them rooted to the bottom of the Championship table.

Agyemang's current contract at Deepdale expires at the end of the season and Preston could decide to cash-in on him in January rather than risk losing him for nothing next summer.

A number of other Championship sides are believed to be monitoring Agyemang's situation at Preston and Holloway could face a fight for his signature next month.

Always been impressed with him. Get him in.

Is this the geezer who's team is rock bottom of the Championship with a goal difference of -7, or have I got mixed up again?

With a one in six record? :102:

We don't need a striker. Kaebi is in the team now, all our worries are over.

He is toss

Seconded.

Quite why we would try to buy strikers from teams who are worse than us in this league i have no idea.

Checking the table they've actually scored less than us as well, that is some achievement.

What a wonderful signing he'd be.

On that basis then nobody should be interested in Fulop should they, after all he has let in all the goals!

TBH would rather Hayles. With have Ageymang in DJ Campbell for me.

Could you please translate this into English for those of us who don't speak fluent Alex? :icon_conf

Of course ... why couldn't I see that? :icon_roll

This is definitely the sort of player we need. We've got a squad full of midgets and we need some presence up front.

Depends on tactics. Solskaer and Owen are shorties but were effective. Paul Scholes was no giant. Maradona was a shorty too. So was Shearer. Plenty of midgets can be prolific but they need service. In short, you could be right, but not neccessarily. :icon_bigg
