I've booked hotels and travel with lastminute.com on several occasions with no probem.

Not my idea of fun either. I did see somewhere before reported that those kind of rides appeal to people with naturally low levels of adrenalin who enjoyed boosting their levels as they're tossed around.

I Went around this time last year, and it was the quietest i had ever seen the place. Great really because we didnt queue for hardly anything. Sign of the times though and perhaps people cant afford it

I'm so old I remember Alton Towers when there was just a boating lake, cable cars, haunted house and astroglide. Oh the excitment when the flume arrived!! It's still my favourite too.
