I agree that Simeone is probably beyond us but I'd like our owners to have a go.

We could double his salary and give him £100m to spend.

I think a lot of people seem to be underestimating how attractive a prospect our club is just now.

Everytime a big call has been needed, our owners have made it. I think the direction that they take over the coming days will define the clubs' foreseeable future.

I quite agree. If we don't aim for someone of his calibre, we may as well keep Shakey.

If Arsene Wenger leaves Arsenal and is replaced by Steve Bould everyone would rightly call it a barking mad decision.

Same for us and Shakespeare. He's a coach that has done a decent caretaker job for a couple of months.

He cannot possibly be considered to be a serious option for a club that wants to compete in the top half of the Premier League.

I think he is exactly the step we need to take, right now, which'll get top players thinking about us again.
 
We're going for Simeone now? Lol. ****ing hell, I thought Mancini was a bit of a stretch but this is taking the piss! I think Mancini is the ideal next step if we can. He has done a similar job at Man City to what we want and that's to try and establish us as a club that competes for Europe every season.
 
It'd be interesting to see the menu changes at the training ground at the start of his managerial period and now. There's bound to be something that's upset them.
It'll be the switch from breadcrumbed fish fingers to the crisp battered ones. That or the chef dropping microwave chips from the menu.

I am now beginning a period of thorough research to see which foreign boss we will be bringing in.
