We have had 3 or 4 seasons of doom and gloom, incompetent managers residing over lousy players that served up drivel. The threat of relegation seemed to carry a heavy burden around the club for most of last season, and the day we lost our top 2 division status at Stoke was like a death in the family. That day it dawned on the city faithful that the unthinkable had happened, we would be playing league games against Hereford, Cheltenham, and Hartlepool.
Well just over a month into the season, what do you think ?
Is it really that bad ? Is it depressing to be playing to an half full Walkers against shitty teams ? Whats the away fans perspective on going to new territory ? Is there much difference in quality between the championship and league 1 ?
Imo the fact that the team have started well, appears to have lifted the black cloud over the club. So were our worries about dropping into league 1 unjustified? or do you consider it still to be a bloody nightmare ?
