I know he's as spursy as the come, but Danny Blanchflower was completely right: "it's the glory" - and that's winning whatever cups you're in, not finishing above an arbitary line in the league

Winning the ECL Cup IMO would be a good achievement, that's 2 more trophies than Spurs have won this season, be funny as **** if Vardy retired with a bag full of medals including a European one and that twonk Kane got **** all.
Vardy would of had a better career, what's the point in scoring loads of goals if you have naff all to show for it.
The community shield + The ECL cup is a good haul for any team and would do a lot to give confidence in Rodgers' tenure as a manager here. Hopefully, we're mostly through a sticky patch.

I have a lot more confidence in him now we've actually managed a clean sheet in the previous games.

We’re far from through what was much more than a sticky patch. Two wins in a row were much needed but it was against two of the worst teams in the league. We then played a good (far from great) team and didn’t lay a glove on them.

Nice to know you’re feeling as positive.

I love to hate you all
