Was it clear and obvious that there was no contact? Clearly not.

Does it matter that Ramsdale 'tried' to pull out of his rash challenge? No

If the penalty stands does anybody complain that it was definitely not a penalty by law? No

If anything, Ramsdale is lucky to still be on the pitch as it could arguably have been last man and he didn't attempt to win the ball.

Poor VAR involvement

1. Contact doesn't mean it's automatically a penalty.
2. He did pull out of the challenge.
3. Well it wasn't a penalty so VAR was correct to overturn it.
4. Even if Ramsdale had taken Vardy out full pelt, that wouldn't be the rule.
5. Nope. Exactly what VAR is for.

For years 'in the opinion of the referee' served the game well but provided a few talking points. Nowadays VAR has become the talking point - a totally artificial interference, solely to provide theatre.

Its pretty much going to be like this all season unless we do something radical. Creatively we produce almost nothing & we can't defend worth a shit. No sign of anything improving either. It's not going to be a season to get excited about. Plus we'll almost definitely lose twice to Forest. 3 times if we get them in the cup.

We have a manager who thinks he's too good for us but nobody better than us actually wants him. He pretty much knows this now, so he'll just sit here & fill his bank account. He's lost interest & is marking time.

He'll be back in Scotland this time next year. Or at a mid table La Liga side.

Still, at least i made a few bob backing Jesus to score. Eases the pain a little. Not much but a little.

What we knew before kick off was that our keeper (Ward) and defender (Amartey) are the weak links in the team.

What I learned from the first half is that, in addition to this, Evans and Vardy look every bit 'veterans'. Evans is far too deep because he's terrified of being outpaced. Meanwhile, Vardy's Mrs might as well be playing up front.

Cobblers. For years there were awful refereeing mistakes that favoured certain teams and everyone had to just accept even though they ruined many, many games. The diving, the crowd pressure, the bottler referees scared to make decisions, etc.

Now we have technology which has removed most, but not all, of these awful mistakes. VAR has improved the game substantially. It has some faults no question but only daft lads stuck in the past would want it gone.

Our keeper has been absolutely fine for the first one and a half games.

No changes. Another message sent.
It’s not about hard work and entertaining the fans. It’s about what Brendan wants.

Right now Brendan wants to look like a victim before he gets sacked.

Yep, I was concerned about Ward prior to the season and he has done nothing wrong so far.

Although that kick wasn't the best....

5. Nope. Exactly what VAR is for.
1. When overturning the decision that was already given, contact is the key factor.
2. He pulled out at the last minute and already committed to the challenge
3. It wasn't clear and obvious, so VAR was not correct to overturn it.
4. If it was deemed that he didn't try and get the ball, it would be a red card and penalty.
5. VAR involved for no reason.

Come on Citeh!
