Imagine thinking that was a penalty. Clear dive. Vardy was anticipating more contact but it never came.

There it is, thrown in at the deep end for the first time in his career. He’s been fine up until now but that was a complete panicky clanger.

Yep, absolutely terrible goalkeeping.

Under no pressure whatsoever too.

Comical.

tbf I thought he had made some very good saves up to now and couldnt have done much about the two goals but that was dreadful... where is the communication there...

Yep. And he will make one or two more. But he’ll be fine for the vast majority of time this season.

Imagine being one of the complete buffoons who thinks Danny Ward is a good enough goalkeeper for us.

Back in the game for all of 2 minutes. Then gift them back their 2 goal lead. We're a mess of a team & are going to end up a mess of a club if this ****ing clown stays any longer. He needs to go before he does any more damage. **** what it costs. Another 12 months of this & we'll have the best training ground in the championship & the club will be writing to me begging me to come back as a season ticket holder after ignoring me for years.

Cobblers. For years there were awful refereeing mistakes that favoured certain teams and everyone had to just accept even though they ruined many, many games. The diving, the crowd pressure, the bottler referees scared to make decisions, etc.

Now we have technology which has removed most, but not all, of these awful mistakes. VAR has improved the game substantially. It has some faults no question but only daft lads stuck in the past would want it gone.
Awful refereeing mistakes have simply been replaced by awful VAR mistakes. There can be some excuse for the former but definitely not for the latter. The system still favours certain teams just as it did before.
Your unnecessary final comment is noted.

I’m with you that he’s looked alright, he’s clearly not some complete imposter.

I still have reservations about the mental fortitude of a bloke in his late 20’s who has barely played any first team football. We were handed a lifeline back into the game and he immediately lost his cool and cost us a goal.

Not writing him off, I obviously hope he comes good.

Anyone feel a bit like Rodgers has lost them and half of them (at least) want to leave?

Danny Ward will never be a 'fine' PL keeper. He's a back up keeper for LC matches and the odd other appearance. There is no other PL club that would give him house room as number one.

If you cannot see how obvious that is, you're just being deliberately contradictory.
