Most people above put Morgan in the team.

And?

Are you suggesting that it's possible that CS wasn't watching the match?

I'm not suggesting anything at all. It's clear to a blind man why I asked the question.

And you were incorrect. People here said he had cramp and that he'd play. It was clear he was injured. CS and I obviously agree.

It was Shakespeare who suggested he had cramp; I heard him say it. I haven't seen anybody on here do anything other than echo his words

Where was I incorrect?

Schmeichel

Simpson
Huth
Benny
Fuchs

Albrighton
Drinkwater
Ndidi
Mahrez

Okazaki
Vardy

1-1... (homer)

I could say that if you only saw it on TV it doesn't count - seems to be the thoughts of some bellends - but what'I'll say to you is that CS was lieing. People in general do that.

Paul Merson has the Arse down to win ....... Shock!

I still feel they are defo there for the taking onwards and upwards!!

Didn't CS say he hoped it was cramp?
I don't think that was a lie, he was just being optimistic.

I was just going on what boc was saying.

I think you're right.

I don't think that was a lie, he was just being optimistic.

I heard him say that he 'understood' it was just cramp. Eurosport has it that he 'believed' it was just cramp. Personally I feared for him every time the ball went near him; his movement was so limited that it almost seemed that he was playing in carpet slippers. Other fans near me were calling for him to be taken off in the first minutes of the game. I don't think Shakespeare was being optimistic; ridiculously over-optimistic would be more like it.

Nothing of this changes the fact that the cramp story came from Shakespeare and that people who suggested that he should play at Arsenal took him at his word - which is what I said in the first place.

I was utterly gobsmacked when he took Benny off and left Wes on the pitch.

Didn't take a genius to work out that one of them was highly unlikely to see the game out.

I would go further and say that it didn't take a genius to work out that Wes was highly unlikely to see the game out.

Let's face it, Wes wasn't ready to come back (fitness wise) but did because he's a warrior and the team needed him.

If we beat the Arse without him on Wednesday I wouldn't be surprised if Wes didn't play again this season.

He's set a great example and been a true captain for us. Not sure how many of us would be feeling, knowing that we weren't near 100% fit and having to play against AM on probably the biggest night in the club's history.

For once we agree, he could use an extended rest and fully deserves it.
