Not really valid, as it was for a crime that he had committed many years before during the prime of his life and which he had been on the run for up until a few years ago.
And even then, he was released due to his age and poor health

The reason given for the deal possibly stalling is that Milan wants to be here longer than the new buyers seem happy with, indicating Milan is not someone wanting to up sticks and just leave ASAP, he has financial reasons to stay put for now.

I don't think that it's much in doubt that Milan wants out asap but he needs to stick around for a while to try to get back as much of his investment as possible. We'd all do the same. I think we should probably give him credit for wanting to do the right thing for himself and also for the club.
It's a long time now since any local business interests were interested in putting any serious money into LCFC - and quite understandably so and like so many other clubs we are now reliant on potential foreign investment or we'll be back to where we were in the pre-Milan days when as I recall we couldn't raise circa £40k to bring in nonentity players.

Who can doubt the veracity of a T-shirt? It's a bit like those 'I'm with stupid' T-shirts, anybody wearing one of those is always with somebody stupid and even if they're not, it's almost as if the T-shirt is talking about the person wearing it.
