If you live in Leicester they've not posted them - they are just available for collection from the ticket office

I live outside of Leicester, and had a nice e-mail this morning telling me it was available for collection from 9am.

I sent my old man to collect it, as he had to get his and guess what ... They posted the fecker yesterday.

Ive live in Leicestershire but have a Warwickshire address, bet that would have confused them, glad I didn't buy a season ticket now, not sure I could handle the stress and the not knowing.

Interesting last few words in the statement given we e-mailed the club late last night, following the Guardian/Mirror stories going live on the web, stating that "fans had a right to know who major investors were in their club" & did not want LCFC fans to have a repeat of the situation at Notts County last season

Why do they? Fans are only customers of the club, why do they need to know?

Reliable sources on Bentleys and FT are saying that the talks broke down yesterday and a deal looks less likely.

Seems as though the takeover people want the whole club now. Mandy wants to retain 51% for another year like he did at Portsmouth.

Mandy appears to be trying to protect his investment. He wants to stick around for the same reason he did at Pompey - to ensure he gets all his money - mainly repayments of loans with interest that he's underwritten. Almost all of which would be profit for him personally.

Potential investors that want him out now could be either very astute or dangerous.

I cannot believe that this has only been discussed at this late stage. There will always be trade offs and I think MM is merely trying to negotiate the best possible deal for himself. I may prove to be wrong, but IMO there will be some form of compromise agreed.

i agree with this, after everything thats gone on with NP leaving with seemingly little effort to keep him and the Sousa appointment it feels like this is just some posturing by MM.

Thats said, there were several stories breaking yesterday that a deal was far from being concluded, so maybe there is an element of truth in it ?

Agree with that, any businessman with an ounce of sense would negotiate a deal if he thought the offer could be improved.

As you say MM's not thick but at the same time with the court case coming up, time is running out for him.

People keep saying about the court case, but nothing will happen. It's not the first time he's been through it, and rich men don't go to prison for tax evasion.

I know he won't go to prison but if a conviction is brought against him he fails the 'Fit and Proper Peoples' Test. Ideally, he retains a percentage of the club, gets his profit and then sells later. Tbf, though I'd feel more comfortable having him on the board as at least he has some English football background. The previous charge against him never led to anything.

My reading of the situation is MM wants to retain control of the club for a further 12 months, secure his investment and then hand over control to the consortium. The consortium want control now. So they continue to negotiate, Milan will hope to secure as much of the money up front and keep his snout in the trough hoping that this year we secure premiership football and the value of his stake is vastly increased. Truth is the probable and most likely compromise would be the best deal, which will probably mean MM keeps 25% and his role as chairman for a year but the consortium hold the majority and control the club.

Remember how many times MM played hardball with the previous shareholders and eventually got pretty much what he wanted out of the deal, well this time he is dealing with like minded individuals. MM wants out, the consortium want in, this is negotiating the finer details and both parties will be keen to secure the best possible deal. I very much doubt MM will want to risk the consortium pulling out at this late stage.

All along i thought it was complete bollocks and the day after i think this is really going to happen the feckin talks break down. :018:
