Contrary to media reports, Leicester City Football Club wish to confirm that no agreement has been reached with any parties regarding the acquisition of the Club.

Chairman, Milan Mandaric, has always maintained that he would welcome the right partner to help him move the Club forward.

Discussions have taken place with a number of interested parties, but no agreement has been reached.

If any discussions with any interested parties lead to concrete agreements regarding a partnership to assist in moving the Club forward, Leicester City fans will be the first to know.

It seems to be the same ones that l posted on here a few weeks ago, a Yank a Frog a couple of Maylasians and another. I think thats what l posted. Also theres talk about DJ Cambell, more than likely wanting to get rid of him, but i'm only presuming that.

Yeah but I don't know how to upload stuff from it. I could do it on my iPod, I'll probably just get my mum to film it as I'll need two hands free.

Interesting last few words in the statement given we e-mailed the club late last night, following the Guardian/Mirror stories going live on the web, stating that "fans had a right to know who major investors were in their club" & did not want LCFC fans to have a repeat of the situation at Notts County last season

Fans have a right to know after the transaction is complete. LCFC will not make an announcement to anyone until the contracts are signed.
 
I think, from the way that the club cooled speculation, that we may be a week or two from an announcement but, it appears (from the Mercury and the quality of rumoured targets) that de Sousa came on a promise of funds to spend so, it had better happen, or we could lose our manager mid-season - and we know what happened last time we were in that situation!
