I went on the Atkins diet a few years ago when my weight had gradually crept up to 16 stone. I managed to lose 4 stones in 8 months.
You can eat vegatables, it's basically avoiding bread, potatoes, rice, pasta ( and beer:icon_sad:but you can drink spirits)etc.As the weeks go by and and you start losing weight you can up your intake of carbs.
It can be hard going for the first month or so but it gets better.
