You're right, we can't play Wasil. Even if we wanted to.
Someone may have mentioned that. Thanks all.

Wague out for season.Drinkwater was worse than dreadful and I haven't been one to jump on his back of late. Guess I was wrong. He couldn't hold the ball, pass the ball, win the ball or do anything else with the ****ing thing.
Mahrez wasn't anything like as bad as some people are making out. Okay, he wasn't at his best, granted, but he tried to make things happen at times even if they didn't come off.
The defence were terrific although being hypercritical, Simpson was erratic at times, pushing on too quick and jumping into challenges a bit rashly.
Huth will be a big loss for us. Let's hope a miracle happens and Wague is fit if Morgan isn't.
Er... no, everyone could see it including the whole of the watching public, the players, most of the supporters in the ground and both benches. That's kind of why the referee is being castigated.Wague out for season.
Am I the only one who could see the Albrighton challenge was half a yard outside the box as it happened live? No debate, no benefit of doubt to ref... shockingly poor decision especially at this level. Shouted 'outside the box' at my disinterested missus as it happened... amongst other expletives (directed at the ref, not the missus!)
Yet the so called tv pundits apparently needed a replay to be sure and said the referee was unsighted and could see why it was given. Laughable. The referee didn't even think, he was pointing at the spot before Greasyman even hit the pitch!Er... no, everyone could see it including the whole of the watching public, the players, most of the supporters in the ground and both benches. I'm sorry but I can't accept that decision was forgivable. It was utterly inept and cost us the game. Blue spectacles off as well.If you took off your blue tinted spectacles you would agree with the pundits.
Clear mistake yes, but forgivable in my opinion. Video technology needed desperately for calls like this.
I was being facetious. If the referee couldn't see it from his great view, clearly the supporters and both benches couldn't see if for definite.
BollocI can't forgive Albrighton for being so stupid. Most refs would have given it.
Bolloc
Disappointed.Good result for both teams.
We've got a competitive second leg, they've got a very solid advantage.
I thought Slimani was terrific when he came on. Benny was MOM. Too many of our players were below par for us to complain about the result. If they hadn't scored the penalty, they'd have pressed more and got one anyway.
Madrid were far more streetwise around the ref. We were naive too often and let him favour them. Some really poor diving from the likes of Mahrez and Okazaki. Madrid knew how to win free kicks. That's the only reason why the ref seemed a homer.
Looking forward to Tuesday.
