Which players would you rather, leave the club in the summer?

I would say: Sylla, Hamil & Tiatto

I would try and sign Brevett, Welsh and a central midfielder.

Players are under contract you can't just get rid of them because you don't want them anymore.From what I've seen and read I wouldn't bother keeping Welsh.

What's the point of keeping Brevett? It's alright saying experience but the bloke's past it and we dont need another inactive player on the wage bill.

Same applies with Tiatto who is a waste of time.

Give Brevett and Tiatto one year deals.

Get Welsh in on a season long loan.

Bring de Vries back as back-up.

Well said a-z this is the starting point for me but I believe a couple more may go that we are just not expecting.

I don't really want to lose anymore players than the few mentioned. However it is imminent that bigger clubs come in for players like Fryatt, Stearman etc. who could both play at Premiership level IMO.

We have to face the fact that building for the future or not if decent offers for players are made we will find it extremely difficult to turn them down whether we like it or not.

Agreed.Kelly said in todays Mirror that he will have to sell if he wants to buy anybody we get will be on a free and we will have to ship out players to fund that.I'd be happy to go into next season with the same squad as we have now with just a replacement for Joey.

Id be happy if we still had the squad that a-z put forward in the other thread but I genuinelly believe many of those will be gone by next season, I sincerely hope it doesnt happen but fear it will.

I would also include Hughes, williams, kisnorbo in that list and say that we will lose 2 or 3 IMO.

I dont think we will, I think the poor form up to Levein leaving will mean that it will be most likely the January 2007 transfer window when we will be at our most vunerable, many of these players have really only come into their own over the past 3 or so months. Stearman would be the most likely to leave this summer, because he has a good reputation within the game.

Also depends on who goes up in the Play Offs,I could see PNE coming in for Hume if they went up.
