IMO £4 million is too much for Stearman, so this is the price we should aim for if someone bids. At the end of the day we do not need to sell, but whoever comes in obviously needs to buy, we just need to make sure we are canny enough to say £4 mill or feck off. IMO £3mill was too much for connolly too, a similar out come would be good.

To be absolutely serious, contracts do have some value. They don't tie a player to the club, but they do mean that a fee will be received if a player wants to move whilst still under contract.

There are bigger fish in the championship than us.

Maybe, but not much bigger (Leeds only had 21 at Elland Rd at the weekend) and I really don't think Stearman & Fryatt are ready for the Premiership yet, so I say chill.

If Rab is the second best keeper out of those 2 Im a chinaman.

Henderson has the same effect as a good dose of laxative.

He has to go, would be a good choice for the Aussie goalkeeper in the world cup though

The more I think about the Tiatto situation, the more I can understand RK's reasons for wanting to keep him, he is versatile as he can play left back, left midfield and centre midfield. He is experienced and does work hard for the team, last season he stood out for his commitment and work ethic, this season he has missed a lot of football with injury.

Granted he is rash and at times plays with a great deal of ill discipline, but with a small squad that lacks experience and if Kelly can get him playing with more responsibility and discipline, I think he can be an effective member of the squad and his versatility will help cover a number of key positions next season.

A couple of months ago i would have said you were mental. However, looking what he has achieved with Kisnorbo and the team as a whole, I think you may be right

One thing Tiatto isn't short of is passion and committment, like you say, if his rashness can be controlled he could be an asset next season.

Maybe if RK had full responsibility for Dublin & Keown they could have been fantastic signings and still solidly commanding the back line

Truth is we are unlikely to find a player of Tiatto's versatility or experience that fits into our new budget anyway, and with us having a small squad and clearly lacking left sided options, therefore IMO the best option is Tiatto on a reduced package, at least he is a decent athlete who is prepared to run about and get stuck in, and as you say Melton, with the Kelly factor as well, I think we could see Tiatto come in and play a key role in the squad.

They have better keepers IMO.....Schwarzer and Jones at Middlesbrough, Filan at Wigan, even Kalac.

Sylla, Hammill and De Vries should go.

If we can get a young goalie either on loan or signed the Douglas can go.

Would like keep Welsh as he's a decent left sided player.

Very short on left sided defenders but one of the 2 oldies has got to go. Brevitt or Tiatto, I would give Danny another year. Can't fault his commitment and he's versatile if madheaded at times.

If Sheehan progresses in the summer then one of the Swedish pair could go. Think Gerrbrand is more adaptable but Johansson got more experience. Take your pick.

Need another midfielder, so some trading is going to have to take place.

Otherwise the basis of a successful team is laid down. Looking forward to being in the top half of the table for the majority of next season.

Rather keep Johansson to Gerrbrand TBH.

i'd second that, johansson came under plenty criticism (a bit like PK) for not being effective out of his natural position, but as a centreback he is more than good enough for this level
