This season is a marathon not a sprint

A win would have been nice, but we didn't lose FFS

A season is full of cycles, and ebbs & flows - we're hanging in there through a rough patch, around mid-table.

2-3 wins on the trot will catapult us up into the top six and we can stay there for the duration

The new players need some more time to gel into a team & Mills needs to find some form, we'll be OK
 
Sven out: ridiculous!

Can some of you who see the team regularly, give any insight into our defensive weakness? Is it that they need more time, or is the mix wrong? I am beginning to get a little concerned at Mills lack of form, but then, he did miss the pre-season....

Without making sarcastic over the top comments I have to say that it is largely down to Sven. His approach to games is so negative it's unbearable, 4-5-1 at Barnsley is not the right setup, we never look a threat when we start like that and then he's forced to change his tactics again at half time.

I'm certainly not saying he should go but he really needs to take a hard look at what is going on both on the pitch and off.


If the rumor that he gave them the week off his true then I'm afraid he's a ****ing moron, saying they need more time together and then sending them off on their holibobs a few weeks after a month off. Of course I will wait to confirm that he is a ****ing moron until it's confirmed.

Having read that shit back I have to appologise for anyone who reads it, total non-flowing shite

Not a great result but not the end of the world. Sums up the season so far, plodding along. We're still around the cusp of the play offs atleast. I'd agree with Lako about Sven, there have been positives but there have been negatives as well, Icertainly don't want to see him go but he seems to be about as consistant as our players at the moment with the decisions he makes. I think it will come good eventually but I'm not sure it will be soon enough that we will go up this year. I think our club just needs a period of settling down, hopefully we can emulate clubs like QPR and Man City who have also enjoyed substantial investment and eventually progressed as a result.

The main problem is Mills, of course - saw him simply not challenge for the 50-50s on several occasions today. He doesn't appear able to pass or head a ball. Looks like his mind is elsewhere half the time. Pantsil so far looks to be a miscalculation - far too erratic and unreliable a player to be in such an important position.

The big fat bloke in front of us started off shouting at a normal male level. By the end of the match, it sounded like he'd been sucking on helium. Which made his inane comments even more hilarious.

Oh, and many thanks to the tosser(s) who let off the flare after we scored. I managed to avoid an asthma attack, not that they would care.

Pantsil, Bamba, King, St Ledger, Fernandes and Abe were away on international duty. How is he supposed to use the international week to get his players used to playing with each other when so many of them were away?

I hope the average Leicester fan's views are represented by TB posts rather than the RL callers.

If Stringer and Young are the true City fans they profess to be then surely they can influence the producers to filter out to a certain extent more of the f**king clowns that get on the radio after every match. I'm all for open comment but the percentage of negative, mindless jokers we get on is incredible.

Even if the team's performance is below expectation nothing pisses me off more than those unintelligible pricks who have probably never seen the team play in five years, have no appreciation of what's actually required yet profess to have all the answers.

Thinking about it maybe I should just not listen.:icon_conf
