One thing that is really pissing me off is our players saying 'Yea Barnsley/Bristol/Reading came at us from the start really, they made it hard work' etc, etc, etc, why is that Twat Stringer not asking them why they are not doing the same, I mean what are they expecting from the opposition? for them to say 'Oh you lot are quite decent, here have a ****ing goal in the first 5 minutes, we don't really mind seeing as you are all so fecking brilliant'?

after 10 games is when we can really start to moan, its a far far better start than last year but we should be doing better,defence is still below par and i think mills needs to get some confidence after all he is a top quality defender but is yet to show his worth.

I don't know whether you were there today Alex, in normal circumstances i would agree with this but the manner in which we played was very disappointing as was the team selection and formation. King should be starting in place of either Wellens or Danns, i dont see either of these scoring 15 goals a season. Pantsil and Mills looked all over place defensively and left far too much space for Barnsley attacking down their left. We don't close down quick enough, we seem to slow the tempo passing sideways and backwards when in possession instead of pressing and moving forward.

Kane i agreed with you till i read this, have you seen the next four fixtures. On todays performance and our home form i would be happy with 4-6 points, i certainly don't see us getting more than this.

I was very impressed with him, his shotstopping is excellent i just get a bit frustrated that he does not get the ball in play quick enough with his distribution so that we can counter quicker

Looked at the fixtures today, I get the feeling a Pompey/Ipswich could be on it's way unless the defence pulls their finger out. I can't not believe a man of Sven's standing can be so naive when it comes to building a team...should be no surprise really when you look at the clubs he's joined and how flushed they were at the time. Some players were written off here by the fans/Sven and have proved more successful than their replacements.
