Willlow are you trying to get most controversial poster award ? With yer betting on the opposition and supporting the police?
The fact of the matter is the copper is out of order regardless of the fact the bloke may be a complete cock or not. The isssue is ....do we fecking care :102:

Is this controversial? :102:

When the police are getting investigated for pushing people it can only lead to bad things.

Who has said it was unprovoked? The officer involved has not been interviewed yet. Perhaps he will say he was provoked.

Perhaps you should stop making things up as you go along.

''I have now read your original post on the subject one hundred and thirty seven times. I can't find anywhere where you said that. Perhaps you can point it out for me. To make it easier for you, that post is at http://www.talkingballs.co.uk/showpost.php?p=810262&postcount=16

I don't get it?

Why was he there, standing between the police and the (some of) rioters? I can't believe they didn't tell him to move out of the way, only audio will prove/disprove this.

If they did tell him and he didn't move then, well i'm sorry but he deserved to be shoved out of the way.

What would you suggest the police should have done if we accept that they had asked him to move? If they didn't then it's a completely different kettle of fish.

Having said all that, still a terrible shame the guy died.''

Are you ready for 138? Just to help you i've highlighted, bolded and underlined it, please come back to me if you still need more help...

Sorry, forgot to reply to your whole question, there, included in the heart of the sentence is the word ''seems''.

You just lack the intelligence Boc.

There's no need for me to read it again. It's clear enough for anybody to see what your original post says and there is nothing in it about the police officer being subject to the law. A wishy-washy statement about fishes and a kettle is not the same thing.

No, when police don't get investigated for batoning and pushing people for no obvious reason it will lead to bad things, namely more innocent people being assaulted and possibly killed.

I blame his parents.

His father was wrongfully arrested for criminal damage and was subjected to violence and locked up so is well aware of what the police are capable of. In this instance although i feel the police were wrong I also feel the bloke was a twat so wouldnt waste my efforts discussing it :icon_wink

He was also questioned in reference to a murder :icon_wink

OK. To whom does it *seem* that the attack was unprovoked? Have the police said it *seems* to have been unprovoked?

What is the point of passing on speculation without even saying who it is who is doing the speculating?

I think it is clear, if it isn't i will re-phrase to save this problem:

If the police officer did not warn the guy then he should be dealt with appropriately.

Please see below defnition of wishy-washy statement:

Kettle of fish Meaning:

'A different kettle of fish' is much later and is known since the 1920s. By that time 'kettle of fish' had been appropriated to mean simply 'state of affairs'.

It can ''seem'' to anyone that it was unprovoked as there is nothing to suggest otherwise. This does not mean it IS unprovoked.

From the video evidence available at the time most posters were speculating...

When the police are getting investigated for pushing people it can only lead to bad things.

When the police are NOT getting investigated for pushing people it can only lead to bad things.
