Does anyone else think that an egomanical chairman and a mad, unique manager could end in tears.

Dejavu - we beat a team top of the table 4-1 and then the manager gets the sack because he falls out with an interfering, overbearing chairman every other day?!

I like the appointment, he's an improved version of MA2 but I can't see it working or lasting.

Or he was fired for gross misconduct

Is it not the case that, the relationships that you think will never last are often the strongest? Here's hoping.......

But he did have a personality which was like marmite.....some see it as unprofessional, some think it's genius. I suppose the same applied to players as it did us fans....winning academy getting changed in a shed for example.

I actually prefer Marmite to Vegemite which, in Oz, is tantamount to treason. Incidentally, a little known fact is that Vegemite was originally called "Parwill". The reasoning behind it being advertising ... "Marmite, but Parwill". True. Believe it or not. Okay I'll shut up now. :icon_conf

I love Marmite but I doubt that Martin Allen would be delicious spread thinly on toast.

If it wasn't for the small matter of being on the other side of the world, you should apply to be on QI. :icon_bigg
