Oh yeah, I forgot that you are buying your way out of the championship. Not quite going to plan yet is it??!!! Leeds are higher than you and have been all season and we are crap and have spent sweet F.A. Just goes to show what you can get for nothing.:icon_wink

You forget. It's not May

If we get a bid accepted, do we get exclusive negotiating rights with the player until he accepts or rejects personal terms, before a bid from another club can be accepted? Or can the selling club accept more than one bid at a time?

Can't quite understand all the hysteria - he's slightly above average, bordering on the fairly decent, but not particularly great

Bit like most people's opinion of Beckford, really (prior to this season), and that move went down a treat.......

If he signs we'll have to pick from Nugent, Sharp, Beckford, Waghorn and Howard, as forwards,....obviously with Vassell and Schlupp on the sidelines and Gallagher able to deputise. That, in theory, should provide us with enough strike power. A quality provider in the middle and I think we'll be alright.

The big worry over Sharp, for me, is the fact that both Donny and the media have been very vocal about our accepted bid, this'll alert other watching teams. Going to be a nervy one I reckon.

Looking at his record, he is exactly the player we need. Goals, goals, goals! Sheffield United being the only exception but I seem to remember that he was never a regular starter for them.

Cracking record at Division 1 level, even better strike rate than Yann.

if we give him scoring opportunities, his record proves he can find the net regularly

What's this 'Scoring Oppertunities' thing? Are we supposed to give this to strikers?
