£28k per week offered? He better be good if City are paying that.

Still reputedly less than we are paying Nugent, Danns and Beckford.

The idiot who sits in front of me at the KP thinks we are paying £42k/week for Johnson, some of the wage figure rumours are laughable but City are paying well over the average in this league.

Yeah, but you pay peanuts and you get monkeys.

Oh...............

I reckon there's a Viz strip in Billy's Sharps, the everyday tale of an average football player and his Northern town heroin needle recycling program.

conflicting reports - Leicester Mercury say "locked in talks" Sheffield Radio allegedly saying he is training as normal with Donny, could be a saga! IMO sign in the next 24hrs or feck off

Not really. His agent and the chief execs do all the talking. The player just signs on the dotted line.

Since when has a player ever signed that quick ?

Look, if dpj doesn't want him unless it can be agreed in the next 24 hours (new employer, new contract, new manager, moving home, relocating the family, etc.), then I'm sure that dpj has his reasons, and therefore I am fully behind this fan-imposed time limit.

Can someone let Nigel know.

A 24 hour time limit is quite frankly ****ing ridiculous considering he'll be in bed for half of that.

Up till tea-time should more than suffice then, if he's not attended the signing press conference, he should do one.

Quite right - if you were standing at the bar and couldn't be arsed to decide your order then quite rightly the barman would move on to the next customer. This is the same thing - Sharp has had his chance now we should find someone else to offer more money to than any other club in the world. This guy O'Grady with the Owls - don't know much about his background -but he must be worth around £3m and £30k a week. If he also wan'ts to play silly b-ggers with us there is another bloke currently with Charlton who is in the same financial bracket and allegedly a penalty specialist who would be useful when Gallagher needs a breather having run his little socks off all season.

if he/and his agent have travelled to Leicester for talks then i would expect the deal to be done in principal, if however he is training at Donny awaiting alternative bids, thats what i was referring to as conficting reports

why does he have to move house, Donny to Leicester isn't too bad a commute for someone working a three day week

he lives in sheffield apparantly

Perhaps Motown and his son could pop round for a quiet word in his ear. Tell him our fans won't wait forever and that there are plenty more fish in the sea......
