The moaning twats on Bentleys Roof will be having a heart attack

'tis extraordinary stuff

A stat from twitter:

We're only 5 points off last seasons total. Unbelievable Jeff

Pearson on RL;

- First 45 the best of the season. 'unbelievably good'
- Players are so confident he doesn't want to moan about not scoring more.
- Didn't get many decisions in the second half. Possibly offside for their goal. Frustrated with number of undeserved bookings.
- Pleased with Lloyd and Vardy's movement.
- Good counter-attacking.
- Not making too much of the winning streak. Don't get ahead of ourselves etc.
- Referenced the end of last season and said how pleased he is with the mental strength of the squad.
- On Hobbs; 'Why would I break my normal habit of not speculating?'
- To Stringer; 'You do tend to make a bit of mischief......'

Sounded upbeat but keen to move on and not get carried away. I'm sure he's got a lot to think about after what sounded like a sloppy second half.

:icon_lol: Brilliant from Nige to Stringer.

Trying to get NP to say anything about Hobbs. I think he asked five times despite NP refusing to comment

To be fair though, that is doing his job. Has to try and get an answer... Just never works on Pearson!

Cheers Ted! Always appreciated.

I'm guessing Reading. Or Palace when they went on that mad charge up the table?

I'd say Reading too. Probably in their last 14 games of that season knowing them!

Only 5 points off our total last season.

Astonishing. An incredible effort from everyone so far.

Here's a silly little stat - we have more points than anyone in the football league, including the Skrill Prem (although Arsenal have only played 23 games).

This has been achieved by three clubs in the Championship equivalent:

Manchester United, 15.10.1904 to 03.01.1905
Bristol City, 09.09.1905 to 02.12.1905
Preston North End, 25.12.1950 to 27.03.1951

In modern times, Reading won 10 in a row in 2005/6 season. Nobody has won more than 8 in a row since.
