It's not like that. The season's story for sides that get relegated is full of stuff about " if we fight like that in our next game etc etc". Teams like Leicester find any number of ways to lose a game and teams playing against us know we are weak in at least 3 of the four departments and currently dues to injuries, weak in all 4 departments. They know we have little special to offer so they can play their own game.
The fact is that we have gone about 10 games without a win and everyone, without exception, fancies their chances of beating us - home and away.
My take is that we are currently the very worst side in this division and everyone knows that the club from a playing point of view is in turmoil.
If we take the Barnsley game. Who will be most up for it? Who is most likely to give it a real go and battle it out?
Our best chance lies with Hull not being able to pick up sufficient points. But if we go into the last game against Wolves still needing points and given that they are likely to still need points to ensure a play off place - then I think its curtains.
