i dont rate porter one little bit anyway so anyones an improvement.

I dont agree one iota with the report here http://birminghamcity.rivals.net/default.asp?sid=902&p=2&stid=8444468
I wouldnt say that Birmingham were as good as this small quote says
"For an hour of this game Blues lorded it over a Leicester side who looked destined too to leave the hell hole that is the Championship. Blues back line looked rock solid, in midfield Clemence and Muamba were awesome and the two wide men looked back to their best. Andrew Cole up front was sensational as he held up the ball and brought fellow striker and 16 years his junior Bendtner into the game."

Fox Fan would have subbed him :icon_roll

I would have subbed him when Jarrett went off because upto that point he was total wank.

But following that he did play well I don't deny it.

Mattock was by far one of the best players on the park last night, made alot of good runs and kept their winger quiet when he went to left back

Was at the game last night, the 1st half was abysmal. But in the 2nd half we were miles better and if their goalie hadn't had a blinder we could have had a point (they saved 2 shots on the line) I think that people should realise that NW has only been here a week and like it or not he has had to experiment with the team whilst needing to win. Yes Brum were physical last night (sometimes brutal) and we didn't get much out of the ref. But on the positive side the team that finished looked like a team that wants to perform. When Cadamatri came on his class showed, he is fitter than the rest and has more skill, with Horse up front we had a big brawny forward who hustled them which bothered them. As the game went on you could see the confidence growing in the team putting Brum on the back foot which is why Newton had some space to attack them. I think that NW now knows the players who have some ability and who want to play (which is why Maybury was subbed) I do believe that that team have enough to get 3 or 4 points from the last games which will keep us up.

good post also the players reaction at the end they looked gutted and knackered that they hadnt got anything from the game

Also to add a little more optimism. If you look at Saturdays games. Luton are out of it. I don't see S/end getting anything away to Plymouth. Can't see Leeds getting anything at playoff chasing Scum and Hull need to beat Stoke who are probably one of the in form teams at the moment. Barnsley might get something at Palace (who have nothing to play for) and the same applies to Cardiff. if we can get a point at Preston (which is possible based on 2nd half performance) we could be 3 points clear with 2 to go.

i agree with you again - not sure about saturdays game as i didnt go though :)

I thought Newton was utter boll*x until he scored, thats all he did also went on one good run from the half way line but Hume fecked it up. Newton couldnt pass the ball, so all in all it was an ok performance from Newton..
