Did he? Is that because two people have said he was responsible for the goals? I see no-one has explained why the second goal was his fault yet. My view on that one was pathetic defensive play leaving a player wide to run in and score. Oh, the same goal as we conceded against Derby and two against Stoke when Logan didn't play. The only good thing about this discussion so far is that someone has not managed to blame McCarthy yet. :icon_wink
He was at fault for the first goal, is that not enough for you? Coupled with the fact he was pathetic all night??
So the whole defence is absolved then because you say so. So no one should have marking Jaidi? No one should have tracked his run then?
He was completely at fault for the first goal (the second was Nissa's fault)
See Homers post above.
Jaidi wouldnt have got near the ball if Logan had of caught it.
MOTM by a million miles, followed by MattockOn a seperate note, Newton was outstanding last night. MotM in Blue.
Thank you. I'm not saying he was brilliant last night and you yourself have said he shouldn't have been played after not playing for so long. My point is that the defence is awful and cannot defend, but people are laying everything at Logan's feet which I think is a tad unfair.
But did you not feel he was blocked by a forward which stopped him going for the ball? Just curious to know.

Not really
Any half decent keeper would have punched it clear
He flapped it like the powder puff girl he is. pitiful keeping IMO

NoRight, it seems like we had a real go at Birmingham yesterday who, you must remember, have probably been the best team in the division this season (pedants will say Sunderland have because they are top at this stage). If we can raise our came sufficiently against Barnsley, and the other two remaining fixtures then surely we'll snatch one win, right?
We are still not in the relegation places, and still have a better goal difference than the bottom three so are effectively 3 points ahead of them.
For those of you that went last night, do you believe that if we can carry the performance of the last 20 minutes against Brum into the final three cames, are you confident, maybe the wrong word, are you hopeful that we can squeeze out those crucial status saving points?
Really? If we played the remaining 270 minutes with the same attitude and quality?
