Leicester City have today advised supporters that their Championship clash against Birmingham City at the Walkers Stadium, which is currently scheduled to be played on Friday, January 19 2007, may be moved.

The Blues have agreed the date of Wednesday, January 17 (7:45pm) for a potential replay with Newcastle United, whom they face in the FA Cup third round.

And this would mean that the Foxes would be forced to put their clash against Steve Bruce's side back a day.

The Brum site reads slightly differently from the City site about this. Whereas the City site seems to be suggesting the arrangements are not finalised, the Brum site seems to suggest that the match will revert to the Saturday only in the event of them drawing their Cup game. This means that we are unlikely to know when the match will be played until after the games on 6th January.
