Blackpool fans possibly scraping between themselves. There is no City fan anywhere near em.

The stewards were taking action against a small group of '16 year-olds' who continued to smoke after being repeatedly being requested to desist.

The situation was still not under control at the final whistle, when Blackpool fans were asked to follow the directions of the stewards and leave the stadium by alternative exits due to "a problem on the concourse".

i noticed you wandering around the concourse behind the goal at half time boc ;)

If you had observed for a few moments longer, you would have noticed me sneaking into the West Stand as I do at half-time in most games - except when I sneak into the East Stand.
;-)

You should have introduced yourself!

Yiou should try to get from the Kop right back to the Kop - perfectly possible in the half-time break.

How do you get past the away end then?

And how to you get past the centre bit of the West stand, it seems to be all corporate / directors / press in the centre so your average fan trying to circumnavigate the stadium would come up against jobsworth stewards.

Or do you take a pile of programmes with you and walk round the pitch pretending to sell them?

You've got to learn to blend in. I have done both in both directions. In my experience it is actually easier to get past the away end than it is to tranverse the West Stand.

Remember that there are different levels which the journey can be made at.

Or do you take a pile of programmes with you and walk round the pitch pretending to sell them?

Programmes had something to do with one of my passages (ahem!) past the away fans, but not in the way you suggest.

What am I missing? the ends of each stand are closed off, no? so you must pass byon the track around the pitch, or through the seats.

You've led a sheltered life, Durham. It might be in your interest if you don't find out about these things.
