It's a long journey for us London Brancher's because of engineering works. Train to Southampton then a 50 minute bus ride. It might test a few bladders out.

Don't forget that even though your train from Waterloo goes right through to Southampton Central, the 'fast' bus for Bournemouth departs from Southampton Airport. If you allow yourselves to be carried through to Central, you may have an even slower and more uncomfortable journey.

New stadium? And that applies even to those who are old enough to have been down to Bournemouth for their previous encounters with City, the pitch having been turned through 90° since then and no part of the old Dean Court ground having survived the 2001 rebuilding..
