Even now the BBC headline does not seem to be totally accurate. The content of the article suggests that he is not yet actually suspended, temporarily or otherwise. It seems from what is being said in the article and elsewhere that the FIFA ethics committee has *recommended* that he be suspended but that nothing will actually happen until tomorrow. Note though that Blatter's adviser is pointing out that he (Blatter) is "the father of the ethics committee".

fifa.com is meanwhile silent on the matter.
