Why, because I don’t blame BR for every little thing that goes wrong on the pitch, like some seem to do?What a genuinely stupid thing to say
Ok!

Yep. This is what concerns me the most. The fact that we’re actually very fortunate to have 6 points from 5 games. A woeful start. In 5 PL games so far, we've scored 5 goals from an xG of 4.62. This shows that we've not been unlucky at all in front of goal. We are a one goal a game team at the moment. Our shots and creativity are the lowest in the league.
Our xG against in those games is 9.28 and we've conceded 8 goals. So, if anything, we've got away with it defensively. It could have been worse.
We've been out performed in xG in every game so far. Far from being unfortunate, we're actually very lucky to have 6 points. We could easily have 0.

Some. Only some.VAR can overturn wrong decisions, right?
Well Brendan wasn’t playing, so absolutely not him.Who should I be blaming for Maddison, a player who can't even run atm, playing wide right?
Must have been a mistake as nobody is that ****ing stupid.
Well Brendan wasn’t playing, so absolutely not him.
The NBC summary (a goalkeeper, Tim Howard) disagreed with all 3 of the decisions.
If Vestergaard had not been fouled he may have even won the header in the first place.Howard is a pretty good pundit who often talks a lot of sense. And to those who say it was a penalty, well if Vestergaard hadn't been fouled there would have likely been no handball, it had definite effect on what followed.
Not to mention he didn't give the pen until talking to the lino - he initially gave a corner. Even more reason to take a look on the monitor. The Vesty penalty really is stupid refereeing.
He gives a handball as clearly the ball does strike the hand but is either not requested or can’t be arsed to check the monitor to see if the defender was fouled.
If he looks at the monitor, only a total **** could award a penalty.
I'm sorry but Soumare was not awful. He actually looked very promising, even though he was in the wrong role.In the second half we were great. Lookman was terrific, as was Barnes. That is where the positives end.
Maddison out wide is the work of a simpleton. It was never, ever going to work. Not only was he completely useless there, he either isn't at all fit or decided he didn't want to bother today. Soumare was awful against Napoli. He was even more awful today but he was shoe-horned into the side and kept on the pitch even though he offered next to nothing. Tielemans was shite again in the first half but much, much better in the second. Bertrand is summing up exactly why I thought he was a nonsense of a signing. Appalling for the last two games. Castagne is twice the player he is and should be starting over him with Thomas as back up.
As for the referee; truly ****ing abominable. But make no bones about it, Rodgers got it wrong from the very off today.
We must attack games more and play with freedom. We look like we are frightened to death to pass the ball forward. For all his empty rhetoric and platitudes, Rodgers must work on getting the basics right. This starts with selecting a team that makes sense.

StandThe two disallowed goals at corners were down to our useless approach of having Barnes stood offside.
