Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

Wait now for Ollie's next analogy about being mobbed by birds in a nightclub, but due to being leathered you amazingly some how don't manage to score - genius that Ollie!!

But he hasn't said any of that sentence that you just made up!
Genius that Marshall Cockney Fox

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

I actualy feel sorry for IH today. We should have won, no doubt about that.

But the bigger picture tells me time is running out. Lose the next two games and we will be in the relegation zone and fav to go down.

I think MM will stay with IH now, it wouldnt be fair to put this situation on someone elses plate.

I'm quite an easy going fella, but i can't feel sorry for IH. He has had a a fair few games now and improved the squad, but yet our results have technically got worse. He coaches these lads and for some reason they are not responding well to his motivation talks and tactics.

Dog shite, absolute dog shite!!!

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

Holloway's behaviour on the touch line was appalling.
Hume's behaviour on the pitch was appalling.

I blame the Ia(i)n's again!!!!!, but they'll blame the gods, no doubt.

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

Don't tell me you haven't heard his "bird analogy" in the past. I said it would be coming - be patient.

Yes, I heard him make that comparison once, years ago.
I think it'd probably be fairer to let him come out with nonsense before slagging him off for it.

I'm off to watchthe Cup match,I have a feeling I know whats goiing to happen on here tonight

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

It seem's odd but the better quality of player we bring in to the squad the worse are results seem to get.

Let's just play the reserves as i'm inclined to think that the senior pros are a bunch of mercenarys who aren't prepared to dig in and fight for the club. They should have the quality but it appears they lack the fight.

I reckon a few of us will be attacked by the happy brigade.

Mate i haven't slagged him at all, i merely highlighted that he has a trend to spout amusing anecdotes to describe unfortunate results.

Perhaps your more tetchy than i am at the moment - we're all living the nightmare squire!!

But the only people who mention these so called amusing anecdotes are the people who mention them as a way to slag him off

This is exactly the problem, and ive suspected it for some time now.

Okay i promise not to mention Ollie's anecdotes again as clearly my sentiments are being misinterpreted. I actually like his slightly ecentric ways.

However i am not impressed with his results and that comment is not open to interpretation. He has the players now in his squad - but he is not bringing the best out of them.

'Tetchy' would be a serious understatement.

The tone of your post seemed to be slagging him for something that hadn't happened, apologies if I misunderstood you

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

We had about 7 or 8 decent chances - 3 of them which any player should have put away. They had a couple - and hit the inside of the woodwork twice. We were lucky to come out of the game with a point. Our finishing is piss-poor. We are shite and in the shite.

I now have a train to catch and then another one. I expect that I will feel better later.

Spot on Bob, we had shit loads of chances and hardly made their keeper move.

They had two, and both times frightened the shit out of flapper in goal.

They hit the crossbar and the post, we hit Row Z, but I suspect we'll still get the "bad luck" story.

England lost to Scots at rugby, Tigers lost to Worcester and the foxes failed yet again.

My sporting weekend has been ruined. Are the Leicester Riders worth supporting these days??
