Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

England lost to Scots at rugby, Tigers lost to Worcester and the foxes failed yet again.

My sporting weekend has been ruined. Are the Leicester Riders worth supporting these days??

Oh and before anyone moans about me giving the Eng rugby score away don't bother watching any highlights, there aren't any - absolutely awful!!

Let's all just go home & be satisfied that Hume has such a chantable name.

I've been chanting his name all the way home alright!!, but it wasn't his given name.

Spot on Bob, we had shit loads of chances and hardly made their keeper move.

They had two, and both times frightened the shit out of flapper in goal.

They hit the crossbar and the post, we hit Row Z, but I suspect we'll still get the "bad luck" story.

from what merson said we made their keeper pull off a couple of good saves and had 1 cleared off the line so we hardly hit row z as you claim :102:

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

I think most would have settled for a nill all at the start of today. Just for the point. Frustrating that we couldn't score the chances we created, the past few months we have often played 90 mins without creating chances though.

Results went against us today, last week at Cardiff it was the other way round. Very worring thoughas I think we will do well to get results in the 2 upcoming games.

Where does this leave us? I have always believed that there were three worse teams but I can't see this now.

Hume also had an open goal on 3 occasions & managed to hit row Z from 10 yards out

'IH just needs more time, we need stability, hes turning things around, he will put things right in the summer, we wont go down' Blah Blah F^cking Blah.

he wasnt the only one who missed good chances, what about howard and dj and mcauley:102: people seem to single out certain players but others who are as much at fault dont get mentioned :icon_roll

Are you quoting somebody Biff? I'm confused, is this more 'philosophy'? :icon_wink

Did he mention the other seventeen shots?

Although technically they probably never hit Row Z as my light hearted comment suggested, they were certainly nowhere near the goal.

I would prefer to trust my own eyes than those of an "ex" crack and booze addict with the brain power of a gnat.

Because Hume had the three easiest chances of the game and all from the penalty spot area!!

Are you being stubborn for a reason?

Come on, someone must have heard BG breathing down the phone.:icon_bigg

what about mcauleys effort apparently he was only 3 yards out and still managed to hit the keeper instead of the back of the net :102:

He's a defender, and it was in a scrum. Anybody could have missed it.

Yes, he should have scored, but he had a good game today and "his" job very well.
