Compare the players in the two teams and we should be beating Bristol City, we shouldn't be happy with a home draw against them.

I am so fecked off right now it's unreal. How the hell we did not score I do not know. Their keeper made a couple of terrific saves but we missed chance after chance after chance.

A good performance, so what, it counts for nothing, 3 of our main rivals all got 3 points.

I am starting to worry that these 2 points lost today are going to cost us in 2 months time. I haven't felt this bad about our season at all before today.

We need 3 points on Tuesday, and I can't see us getting them.

I'm a very, very worried LCFC fan right now. :icon_sad:

Of course our players are better than theirs.

Our players, playing at their best, as a team, should beat Bristol City. Our position in the table isn't because our players are crap, it's because we have good players playing badly. Bristol City's position isn't because they have the best players in the league, but because they've played well as a team.

Although technically they probably never hit Row Z as my light hearted comment suggested, they were certainly nowhere near the goal.

I would prefer to trust my own eyes than those of an "ex" crack and booze addict with the brain power of a gnat.

I don't mind Paul Merson,I realise though that I maybe alone on that.For the record they said we were unlucky on Radio 5 but unlucky is no good at this stage of the season

Hume's behaviour on the pitch was appalling.

I agree, I've had it with the useless twat. What he did today that was useful I don't know, missed 2 absolute sitters and still gets cheered for it.

Why the **** he seems immune from substitution I don't know. DJ played really well I thought, Howard wandered around a bit and did **** all, yet then DJ got taken off! Absolute joke.

From the chances we created I could probably have scored a hattrick today, the strikers should all be put down.

Listened at work to 5live, got to say they were truly behind us and gave a really entertaining commentry, much better than listening to Baa-Baa and walsh.
As for the game - its easy to say we were unlucky not to score, but FFS we're supposed to be in one of the best leagues in the world (5th best or something). If we keep going without scoring a goal ourselves (4 games now i believe) there is no question that we'll be in league 1 next year. Why are we not scoring? The potential talent is there on the pitch, but we just can't get that ball over the line. Got to be some shooting practice before Tuesday. As for the players confidence tho, that must be zero by now.

That's no goals scored by our lot in 6 of their last 7 games. That's the scary thing. Nought wrong with us defensively. Someone needs to start scoring or we're fecked.

Thought the midfield today without Clemence was so much better. Oakley and Hendrie were dominant and good in possession. If IH has any balls, we won't see Clemence again this season. Etuhu looks impressive but he's too quick for our other attacking players. Was waiting patiently for support several times 30 yards ahead of the rest.

In fact, all bar one player did well today. We were just unlucky at times.

I hate Iain Hume. Real, absolute, hatred. Every time the prick gets the ball I feel a welling up of bile. He manages to destroy most of our attacking moves. He gets in the way. He gives the ball away constantly. He is greedy and only interested in himself. He's a total wankstain. Anyone who cheers him should be shot.

I absolutely agree with that - and that is why I forecast we would win this match.

If there is anything worse than a team playing badly, it is a team that is unlucky and can't put away chances. It's essential when you are generally struggling and you do happen to dominate a game that you take full advantage.

This season has been one of massive under-achievement by players who should be doing well in a rubbish league. I am still clinging to the view that we will scrape to safety but I worry about the Holloway factor and if Wednesday pick up points in their two games in hand then I may have to revise my views.

I actualy feel sorry for IH today. We should have won, no doubt about that.

But the bigger picture tells me time is running out. Lose the next two games and we will be in the relegation zone and fav to go down.

He made 2 cracking saves - one off Howard at the death and Oakley from some distance.

Nice to see certain players get themselves dirty YET Howard, Clapham, Hume, Stearman, Haykes looked so off the races, it was unbelieveable.

This could hurt us bad, I can see the performance doing more harm than good.
