Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

He's a defender, and it was in a scrum. Anybody could have missed it.

Yes, he should have scored, but he had a good game today and "his" job very well.

and i bet if hume hadve missed it you wouldve lambasted him til the cows come home :icon_bigg

He wouldnt have struggled to stick it in his own net if it was at the other end though:icon_bigg

Are you quoting somebody Biff? I'm confused, is this more 'philosophy'? :icon_wink

Ive noticed one or two IH lovers, starting to realise that we are indeed going in the wrong direction, and maybe, just maybe, IH isnt getting the best out of a team that should be mullering teams like Bristol City.

Yes, because it's job, and as we all know, he's a fcuking god.

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

I have scored 8 goals in 9 games in the Leyton Wednesday night evening league so i know a thing or two about scoring!! The hard work is creating chances, if you do in fact create 20 chances and still can't score there is something seriously wrong.

Is it time for me to step up boy's, i'd describe myself as a poor mans Claridge - yes that good!!

half the time he isnt
I'm usually fairly restrained when it comes to criticism of this lovely little chappy, but today the **** gets 50% of the blame, and the other misbehaving out of control buffoon on the bench gets the other 50%.

Can i ask a cheeky question lads - perhaps someone can convert it to a poll.

Who is the best finisher in the club??? I'd love to know the answer to this as i have my suspicions its Tim Breaker as its not one of the playing staff!!

I would say Hume or Fryatt based on history and what I have witnessed. But you would have thought it was Howard or Campbell as they are the ones Holloway picks.

Elvis was a good finisher but only when the balls were played right into him.

I have a feeling the Coventry defeat could have been the one that did for us. We won the game before that, plus the game after. Had we have won against covscum it would have been 3 wins on the bounce and the confidence that comes with consistently winning. As it happens we lost and in my opinion it is that one single result that has killed us.

Is that 'top of the league Bristol City' we should be mullering?
