Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

Macky, I have a lot of respect for you, but today you're wrong.

We did all that we could.

If we go down, on this kind of performance, there is no God.

Unless, of course, God is a referee or linesman.

I agree. It would seem that the fates are conspiring against us. I'm not sure we could play much better than that today - apart from putting the fcuking ball in the back of the net of course which is all that counts in the grand scheme of things.

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

I'm a glutton for punishment. I went to the game today, and was hugely dissapointed yeta again, and I have been watching the cricket for the last three hours. England currently 76-8 neding 300. Someone pass me a gun.

On the contrary, if we play like that and fail to take maximum points we will go down - and we will deserve to go down. God looks after those who look after themselves!

Rubbish - another nine performances like that (yes- eventually the ball will go in) and we will not go down.

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

There was also a cast iron penalty in the second half where their player practically caught the ball as he was lying down. Sometimes linesmen make me so fecking angry

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

God looks after those who look after themselves!

He also sacrificed his son for us. Something none of us should forget.

Excepting Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Sikhs and Taoists, whom i'm sure have more important things to be remembering. Any chance of putting in a good word as we could do with getting some points (note: not really bothered about our performances).

That performance included not being able to put the ball in the net at the simplest of opportunities - it was an integral part of the performance and can not be separated from it. Ergo, nine more performances like that and we stand every chance of going down (with a ZERO goal difference).

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

Another nine performances like that and you would expect us to have won most of our games as we performed very well. The amount of scoring chances that performances like that would produce and you would expect to score a fair few goals....it's a shame that our performance yesterday was so good and yet we failed to convert any of our chances.

I acknowledge that we missed some sitters, but the keeper contributed to our 'nil' by making some fantastic saves. That will not happen every match.

Maybe I'm wrong, but I've been sufficiently encouraged by two of the last three performances to believe that we will get out of this mess.

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

I thought that a strange decision as well Alex, shall we start rumours about Ollie & Huuuuuuuuuume being lovers?

Certainly.

Ollie and Hume are lovers. Fact.

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

Yes of course we are. Today just demonstrated that we can't cope with any team in this division. Those Bristol boys sure showed us how how to play. We were woeful! Carry on playing like that and we'll be playing Hartlepool next season.

On the other hand, being purely objective on today's outing, did you boo the team off after that performance?

No i don't do boo's as it don't help anyone

Re: Bristol City post match thread - FT 0-0

How did Hendrie and Etuhu do?

I thought Hendrie was a class act today. Always looked lively, wanted the ball, played to feet, broke up attacks and generally supplied amazing delivery at set pieces.

Etuhu, despite missing a chance my Nan (who's now passed away) would have scored, looked good. Big too....
