Ring Virgin and tell them you are considering leaving and going to Sky as they have all the TV channels and offer a much cheaper broadband service. They will more than likely give you a reduction in your current subscription.

What have Virgin got to do with a wireless connection in your laptop?
I thought they were cable providers.

I dont understand it all. I'm ringing them to sort out my broadband, but i need a wireless router, which they are going to give to me free (they dont know it yet) :icon_wink

My broadband is being installed on Friday. Ive just gone for the entry level option, as i'm not going to be downloading lots of crap etc. Combined cost with my phone is £23.95 per month, which I think is pretty good.

And ive just purchased a dsl wireless router for £24.99 (cos the bastards at virgin wouldn't give me one) - So i'm all set .... i think !!

If anyones still interested, despite my warnings and reservations I went ahead and ordered Sky broadband. Took 8 days and I am now fully connected at 16mb for £10 a month, fair usage uncapped
