A strange game - one promoted side; one as good as relegated side. 'Just pride' to play for as they say in the trade when they really mean there is nothing whatsoever to play for.

One for the dedicated this match is - if we were ultra careful we would rest all our best players although I suspect pearson is not really that kind of manager.

The result is so difficult to forecast but I'll say a riveting 1-1 draw.

Stockdale

Gradel

Dyer

Howard
Fryatt

Warner, Mattock, Berner, Ajdarevic, Hayles

I think that although this is a good opportunity to field some other players and take a look, Nige will want to finish the season on a high and will put out a strong team for this one.

Think changes are more likely on the bench, with the likes of Chambers and O'Neill (the young right back?) getting involved from there later on perhaps...

We'll win 2-1 in a pretty poor game I think

If Fryatt doesn't start I'll eat my hat - surely he will be well up for trying to get the league one golden boot?

I'm going for a 3-1 Leicester, Fryatt to get two.

He'll pick more or less the first team, they usually do. A send off to a couple of people on their way maybe - Dickov?

And anyway we want to be ending the season with 96 points, to extend the club record.

We'll win, and 6/4 is a steal for a City win if you ask me. Fryatt might get a goal but can't see him nicking the Golden boot unfortunately.

Don't know why everyone seems to think we'll be getting rid of Dickov. He's got another year left on his contract, I can't see anyone coming in for him, and Nige seems to like having him around the squad/first team.

fair point, I always forget he's got another year left. I've no problem in him being around, I know he's had poor reviews but he has barely been match fit

I think, with the benefit of a good pre-season, we'll see a different Paul Dickov next season.

i'll be sad at the end of the game tomorrow, i've really enjoyed this season even if we have been in a crap division and will be sad to see it end. lets end it with a bang eh boys, 3-0 leicester fryatt, dyer and stevie howard. bye bye league one, hopefully for good

I'd rather draw 0-0 at Madejski than smash four goals past Walsall.

I'd rather struggle in the Championship than cruise in League One.

At the Madejski, can you sit in the supporters club with 200 home fans and 200 away fans drinking beer at £2 a pint and stuffing sandwiches and burgers at half that price like we did at the Bescot?

Very few matches have been anything like a cruise - and there's more to watching football than the football itself.

Oh, and I spoke to Kisnorbo today, he was told by Pearson face to face that he was not good enough for the squad and therefore will not wear a city shirt ever again.
He's was upset not to get the chance just to get subbed and clap the fans 'thanks' for the last couple of years.

Yep, that's the difference between following Leicester from abroad and going to all the games.
But I just meant I would rather go to a 0-0 draw in the Championship if it was a good result for us than see us smash four goals past Walsall.

i would much, much rather watch us hit 4 past Walsall than draw 0-0 with Crystal Palace (to use a similar sized/placed size in the division).

Ive much preferred this season than the previous 4 or 5 when we were struggling in the lower regions of the Championship

Fair enough, different opinions.:)

No room for sentiment if you want to be successful. Good on you Nigel.
