What I find amazing is that this is yet another of Kelly's own signings that is being bombed out of the club. This demonstrates that Kelly is a) Extremely brave to admit a mistake b) Yet another fall out or c) He has an appalling judgement on player selection.

Since Kelly has taken over as caretaker the following players have joined and then subsequently left the club :

Andy Welsh (Twice)
Rufus Brevett
Josh Low
Luigi Glombard
Danny Cadamarteri

Also throw into the pot the fact that Andy Johnson, Darren Kenton and Mark Yeates have hardly set the world alight since joining whilst Jason Jarrett and Geoff Horsfield aren't beyond criticism following recent below par performances then all in all that leaves only Gareth McAuley that can be described as a successful signing. One out of 12, not really the type of record that fills me with confidence that Kelly should be entrusted with the purse strings down at the Walkers.

Edit I have not included Shaun Newton !!

What about Kenton - they let him go, then get him back and then doesn't play him!

The man is a buffoon.

Well, I personally like Porter, but he has played a lot for his age/experience at this level IMO.

Sadlt, I don't think Porter would be included in any other side in this division.

I disagree. At times I think he's been great!

He can't get past his defender, if you're a winger you have to find a way to get to the bye line to make the 'killer' cross, sadly more and more Porter just sends the ball back to Nissa who then closes his eyes, licks his finger, sticks it in the air and then belts the ball into row F.

Don't get me wrong I like his enthusiasm just concerned he's another Tommy Wright et al.

Like he did when he set up the goal against Leeds?

Porters crosses have led to a few goals.
E.g, against Leeds the other night.

Sorry didn't see that cross, someone decided a pie was more important at the time. All I can comment on is when he's been playing towards the kop in the last few games.

I think he needs resting, he was absolute mustard at the Walkers against Fulham I thought.
