With silva it all depends on whether he can pick up the pace, he's clearly a quality footballer.

I think we have 2 or 3 that everyone has just written off that could offer something.

Barnes needs to work on his finishing.

Ghezzal is the real marmite. He has good feet and vision but does make the odd duffer of a pass. Overall though, despite his talents, I don't think he's mobile enough.

Soyuncu looks better to me on the right side of defence than the left.

Thought some of our movement and passing (particularly 1st half) was brilliant. There were some real nice combos being worked. Tiellemens makes such a difference.

Would be great to see Hamza and Soyuncu do well this year, both super aggressive youngsters who can add steel to a potentially lightweight 1st XI. Would be good if we got Silva to work out as well. That would add depth to the squad without additional expenditure.
Must sort out a striker. Its the only place where we dont have adequate cover. If Iheanacho magically discovers his mojo, which i sincerely hope he does, we are still short of a different, class option to lead the line in different types of game. Rodgers doesn't seem to fancy Muskwe or Ndukwu as young pretenders of good enough quality and so it needs to be the transfer market. He can't be thinking of switching Gray to a false 9; the falsest of all false 9s

I reckon, deep down, there's a very good player in Adrian Silva. The 14 seconds effect was detrimental for sure. If he applies himself in the correct way, we should hold on to him.

Did Silva pass forwards? That and running were all he had to add to his game IMO.
