If the Board want rid of CL but he does not resign, how much to pay off his contract?
If the Board want to offer a contract to a currently working manager, how much to buy him out of his current contract?
(I assume like most of us, they are not impressed by the unemployed managers list, apart from the George Graham types who would not come here)
Does the new manager then have to sell half the squad just to balance the books?

Financial guestimates on a postcard here!

... or the Board could stick with CL and publicly tell him to get his fecking finger out and get it sorted!

Of course we could just let the lunatics take over the asylum and offer the job to Bassett and Wise!

As has been stated, there is no golden cheque handed to levein on the day he leaves. It would have to be budgeted for, sure but it's payed in installments. We have just blown a big chunk of the £200k we shelled out for Gilbert so I guess we are in clover????

To answer the question, IMO, no. One of the lads yesterday relentlessly shouting 'Levine out' at the end, had no ansgwer when I asked him who should replace him, then after looking at the floor, said 'John Gregory' and I laughed in his face.

well for now rob kelly innit then look for a new man while rob runs the ship
for a while most forums on the net are saying the same thing rob kelly to fill in for now
But surely Kelly is just as responsible as CL, as they are both part of the same management team:confused:

And most of them on those self same Forums will want Kelly out by March...

But surely Kelly has his own ideas that he wont be able to stamp on the team at the moment as the final decision will be with CL?:102:

Who is to say he has his own ideas? Also, if he is in on a temporary basis, he is unlikely to put his heart and soul into it, as he knows any new manager will want to bring his own back-up staff in.

and who is to say he doesnt?

and if he does well why shouldnt he then be offered the job?

IMO the management team currently lacks a bit of fire and brimstone, they all seem quite laid back characters, we really somebody to come with a bit of passion, somebody who demonstrates that passion on the touchline, we seem to have a lot of similar characters at present. And i dont think that balance is working, it reminds me of Adams in his final season when people were saying he didnt seem to have the fight anymore and I am now thinking it of Levein and his backroom staff, and you have to seriously question whether Kelly has ever been truly accepted by Levein.

if he not been accepted by levein whys he still there and why did the club bring him in,it gets worse not only are we not getting goals there could be unrest between the manger and ast (i know you did say that) but its there init .

could this be the prob and the in house row has be going on most of this season without any of us knowing ,coz im sure if that is happening then it would affect the players too i just dont know what do you all think ???

We can afford it as he has been sacked, according to rumours on other forums. :icon_wink ;)
