And the Championship teams go tumbling out of the First Round.
Forest
Huddersfield Town
Brentford
Bristol City
Burnley
Bolton
Blackburn Rovers

Also some of the bigger League 1 teams as well.
Bradford City
Blackpool
Millwall
Swindon

Hull only just survived after Accrington Stanley took them to penalties.

It's getting so I can't even laugh at Forest's misfortunes now. It's like watching a slow-motion crash where one bus is full of kids with cancer and the other one is short and yellow. If the club were a horse a vet would've shot them.

Never mind Forest it could be Derby going out too.
Good old Pompey beating them 2-1 and only injury time to go.
Derby have been poor.
Earlier on the Pompey fans were singing Championship you're having a laff.
:mask:

I doubt any of them care about a nothing cup. We didn't either in our promotion year.

Liverpool v Carlisle has gone to penalties.

Liverpool have been clueless in the last third. They've had loads of shots, but most of them have been from around 25 yards out, and have been straight at the goalkeeper or over the bar. The only clear cut chance they created was their goal. This is against a team with the worst defensive record in the league.

And when the Accrington Stanley representative was interviewed he was heard to say "Hull Shitty who the **** are they"

Hull only just survived after Accrington Stanley took them to penalties.
My references to Hull came back to bite me.

Meanwhile over at Old Trafford Middlesbrough fans - over 10,000 of them, show their support for the Steel workers losing their jobs.12190098_571407386345402_6336259072901809519_n.jpg

I wonder if cafe's jinx runs to sky blue?

Four tunately Man City got the better of the Tigers and now the Semi Finals will be all Premier League affairs after the other Championship teams went out too.

Stoke beat Sheffield Wednesday, who took a sizable following, 2-0 and so get to their first League Cup Semi since 1972.

Everton beat Middlesbrough 2-0 with Gerard Deulofeu, ex Barca Academy, looking impressive. City will need to need to keep an eye on him and Lukaku, who scored again, when we go to Goodison later this month.
