With the last day of February now behind us, we no longer have the 'one game suspension for five yellow cards' rule to worry about. The only player still on the tight-rope is Steve Howard - two more yellows for him and he will miss two games.

The BBC, Soccernet, and Soccerbase sites say it's nine cards, the only place I've found that says it's ten is the official site, here: http://www.lcfc.com/page/LatestNews/0,,10274~1591007,00.html but that site is only showing it as eight in the stats section.

That's only for players who have received five yellow cards. Presumably they think receiving five yellow cards by this stage of the season is not too bad.
Players who have had ten yellows or are sent off still receive a ban.

... and there are further sanctions to be taken against players who receive 15 and 20 yellow cards.
