Cate seemed to disagree in the Match Thread:-

The ball was rolling out for a goal kick. Vardy was never going to make it, so foolishly lifted his leg, with full intent of tripping their player. A clear yellow card. On that basis I will disagree with CF :icon_bigg

What do women know about football any way?

It does seem to me though that the suspension of Vardy is now seen as inevitable and that is probably why GTF has been introduced into the last couple of games at an earlier stage than might have been expected. Vardy might like to consider the difficulty that other players have had getting back into the starting XI after missing a game or two.

I think Jamie can count well enough to see that his place isn't at too much risk.

It was a ridiculous thing to do from Vardy. Completely no need and even had the ordasity to question the ref. As blatant a yellow card you'll ever see.

You have the audacity to make a statement like that?

Vardy avoids the booking that would lead to a second suspension but Schmeichel picks up his second yellow card of the season. Something he said?

Time wasting. It was harsh if I'm honest. Ref let the crowd get to him.

For the second game in a row, Wasyl was very lucky to escape a red for a very poor challenge. He's a bit of a nutter.

I presume that you are saying that on the evidence of having seen the tackle live at the ground. Skinner and Young felt exactly the same about tonight's tackle.

And me for what it's worth.

Probs would have gotten away with it a few years back but certainly seemed a red from G2 in today's market - studs up, little to no control flying in and full on took their player out!

Yep, he went over the top of the ball and caught the player near the knee. If he'd wanted to, he'd have avoided the contact. As much as I like the lads commitment and aggression, that wasn't acceptable. Against Sheff Wed, there was a quite deliberate elbow that went unseen too.

I saw it.

He certainly won't get away with that sort of thing in the Premier League.

He puts his elbow in, his elbow out, in out in out he shakes it all about.....,,

That is the chant he has at the moment isn't it?!
